As a special souvenir from your journey to the Mosel you can carry a grapevine from our nursery. A vine is ideal to decorate your house or garden. And of course you can harvest your own grapes.
We have two types of vine: "Phoenix", a vine with green grapes, and "Regent" which carries blue grapes. These two vines are easy to care and very robust. Our vines are of high quality, in order that you have a long pleasure with your vine.
We will explain to you the accurate dealing with the vine and you will get a planting guidance, whose content you can read here:
planting guidance for grapevines:
- plant vine to southern side
dig out a hole 1 × 1 feet
- mix some ground with peat
- hit pole in the ground, remove plastic-pot
- put vine in the hole, that the stem is 0,15 feet over the ground
- fill hole with the ground and pour it (at dry season water more often)
- In the first spring after planting recut to one stem with 3 eyes and give some fertilizer.

In the second spring cut 1 stem according to strenght between 0,5 and 1 feet high.
